Dates pending scheduling
Barcelona, Spain
The current situation of Pandemic for Covid19 and the necessary movement restriction and assembly actions force us to postpone the training scheduled for June in Barcelona.
We will try to make this Portland Institute (Dr. Robert A. Neimeyer) training available again in Barcelona, as soon as the situation becomes possible.
This Module includes special skills for dealing with grief and its complications through viewing actual videos of work with clients, observing live demonstrations, and hands-on training with selected methods and therapeutic techniques for use with a wide range of grieving clients.
Participants will learn a range of narrative, reflective and dialogical procedures, from a constructivist approach, in both death and bereavement losses:
– rebuild a symbolic bond with the deceased, addressing unresolved issues in the relationship, identifying subtle and significant sources of both loss and growth in their own lives and those of their clients, and
– deepening work with implicit emotions as well as internal positioning through methods of expression, body work and creative writing.
Upon completion of each Program, you will be certified by the Portland Institute for Loss and Transition.
Note: Students interested in Portland Institute for Loss and Transition certification must pay a $100 fee at the time of enrollment.
